Fiat 130 station wagon Introzzi
After many years of research I finally had confirmation of my believes. Fiat 130 station wagon Introzzi was real and still exist, and it’s a station wagon different from the other 4 made by Centro Storico Fiat. She is the real station wagon named “Villa d’Este”. It’s a unique, marvelous, beautiful car, nowadays kept in the wise hands of a famous car collector. The first news that I can share with you are related to her birth. She was transformed by Officine Introzzi of Lipomo (Como) starting from a 130 saloon with a 1973 chassis number, commissioned by an Austrian tycoon, friend of Giovanni Agnelli (this fact confirm why she had a Viennese plate in the only one official picture). iat 130 Introzzi has some evident differences from the station designed by Centro Stile Fiat: beltline, rear cantilever and rear trunk door (included 2 handles) are different…….but also wooden insert, lateral third window and roof shape present slightly differences The Introzzi has 4 electric window, with special rear switches inserted near door handle The trunk is fully covered by wooden mélange moquette, with a special spare wheel cover. It creates a sort of “trompe-l’oeil” that make the wheel slimmer. The body of the car s in metallic champagne painting (soon I’ll let you know the exact code) with wooden removable lateral insertion. Yellow antifog light are placed in the front bumper, as many other 130 extra series. That’s all friends for now, but I’ll be back to you soon with further details” Text Edoardo Ferrero
