Although they look the same there are 2 types of Fiat 130 Coupe headlights: Series 1 and series 2.

Series 2 was the cheaper version of the Series 1. Series 2 used reflectors from the mass produced reflectors of the Fiat 126, 127 and 128 (2 reflectors in one headlight).

Well, obviously series two are less complicated then series one, far less components. If it looks fine and does not leak I would leave the glass in it’s housing, carefully sand it with 220/400 and then repaint all mat-black parts with 2 component lack. If you want to do everything like me, take the small parts to a good firm to have them rezinced in yellow.

The people in Germany did many mirrors for me, if you send your mirrors there you can mention my name. After you get them back, the mirrors have a slightly thicker layer of chrome and sealer. Before fixing back the part that holds the lamp carefully clean the edge a bit to make the right fit. Otherwise it could fall out after.

Take the unit apart carefully and send the lenses to Germany where they re chrome them better than the factory did.
Meantime you sand and repaint the case, rezinc all small parts and bits and for low budget and your time you will be really happy again, guaranteed😁
