Proud to present from Egypt The 130 Coupe from Aziz Mahmoud. It took him 4 years to complete the car.
The 2.0L Twin Cam Engine (Manual 5 Speed – Carburated Version) gives on a Highway a fuel consumption of 17L / 100km, with 4 passengers + full tank + full boot + Air Condition on all the way. This is precisely the figure for the Original V6 Engine (Auto Transmission) as well. Not bad huh ? Taking into consideration the Extra Car weight on the Poor Twin Cam Engine used on Fiat 131 / 132 / 124 Spider.
I will try to play with the Fuel Jets, maybe slighter smaller ones would reduce fuel consumption. The current ones on my Webber Carb are: 130 & 140. I always increase slightly the Spark Timing (Advance), which greatly improves the car feel when accelerating, but at the expense of a slightly heavier fuel consumption & the problem with starting the car up again which sounds exactly like a dead battery……As the Engine turns slowly in a reluctant way.
